I give these after-market rims my highest endorsement. They look exactly like the stock rims, except for the plain lug nut hub cover. However, the Tesla covers fit perfectly. All four of my stock rims were dented due to bad road surfaces. One had also cracked, was welded once, which failed, then rewelded, then cracked again right next to the repair. Because Tesla will not sell rims, except in sets of four, I did an exhaustive search and found these Alphasone rims. Enticed by the discount, I bought a set of four and kept the best original rim and most worn tire to have a full-size spare. The forged manufacturing technique claims to be better than the Tesla casting method. After a few unexpected potholes, no deformation of the new rims. They may indeed be stronger. In the worse case scenario of cracking one of the new rims, I can buy an exact replacement for about the same price as the rim repair shops charge for welding and straightening.
